Youth students starting in sixth grade are welcome to participate in a traditional, year-long Confirmation program. It is a fun, interactive program where students learn the basics of the Christian faith as well as United Methodist history and tradition. They are taken to various churches on Sunday mornings so that they may experience different faith practices (i.e. Jewish, Roman Catholic, Orthodox, and African American Methodist churches). Usually, this class is mostly sixth graders, but anyone is welcome to join. While in confirmation those students still participate in youth activities in the evenings. Confirmation is completed by Confirmation Sunday in May.
