Plan Your Visit

Welcome to First Rowlett!

Our vision is to display the greatness of Jesus in the way we live and love others. We are a people who care for, welcome and support those around us in a way that can only be inspired by God. It's our hope that people who visit our church or interact with our people walk away feeling encouraged, refreshed and drawn closer to God. We want every man, woman and child in our community to have the chance to experience and respond to the Gospel in action through our church.

  • What options do you have for my kids?

A professionally staffed nursery is available for infants 6 weeks through age 3 on Sunday mornings from 8:45 am - 12:30 pm. Little Life Groups (Sunday School) meet at 10:00 am for ages 3 through 5th grade. Children at First Rowlett become a disciple of Jesus Christ through a lifetime process of living, learning and loving. They grow through weekly programs including Little Life Groups (Sunday School), Children’s Choir, and Kids in Community where they learn about missions. We also offer exciting events like Vacation Bible School, Fall Fest, Easter Extravaganza, and more.

For more information, contact the Director of Children's Ministries, Liz Harper, liz.harper@firstrowlett.org.

  • What do you offer for youth?

Youth seek a place to belong and to have FUN! At First Rowlett, youth build lasting friendships, have FUN, and grow in their faith. Weekly activities include Life Groups/Sunday School, small group Bible study, and a special youth worship service. Through special events like retreats, lock-ins, and summer camps, youth learn to live out their faith as disciples of Jesus Christ. First Rowlett’s youth value their participation in mission projects, especially mission trips, and truly enjoy serving others. We are passionate about equipping middle and high school students to live lives that honor and reflect Christ. Our new youth building, The Lighthouse, provides a safe and fun environment to nurture social and spiritual growth. During the 6th grade school year, our confirmation program runs from September until May. Youth Life Groups (Sunday School) meet at 10:00 am and most youth attend the 11:15 am contemporary worship service.
