Alexis moved to Rowlett in 2000 and has been a member of First Rowlett United Methodist Church since 2002. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communications and Journalism in May 2014. Alexis interned with The Houston Chronicle while in college and worked for For Rent Media Solutions following graduation. She is in charge of overseeing all youth communications, maintaining the youth calendar, and coordinating trips and events. Alexis is married to Travis Blue, another long-time member of First Rowlett and they live in Rowlett.
